Required Permissions


To ensure that WiFi Automatic functions properly, the following permissions are required:



  • RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: This permission is necessary to restart the service after your device reboots.

  • CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: Allows the app to change the WiFi state.

  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Enables the app to view the network state.

  • ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Allows the app to view the WiFi state.


For the feature that turns on WiFi when entering specified locations, the following permissions are also needed:



  • INTERNET: Required for internet access.

  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Needed for storing data externally.

  • ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Allows the app to access approximate location.

  • ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Enables access to precise location data.

  • BILLING: Required for in-app purchases.
