Description

The Advanced Task Manager provides a comprehensive list of all running tasks on your device, allowing you to stop any task quickly and easily. This powerful task management tool also helps you manage all installed applications on your phone.

Since the release of Android version 2.2, the task management mechanism has changed, which means that task killers cannot terminate services or notifications. However, with the Advanced Task Manager, you can effectively stop tasks by following these steps:

  1. Long press the task you wish to stop.

  2. Select the “Force Stop” option.

  3. Press the “Force Stop” button on the application info system panel.

To manage running services, simply click Menu -> Service to access the system service panel where you can stop running services.

Note: Installing other task managers or task killer tools may lead to instability or conflicts on your device.

FAQ

  • Q: Why do apps restart after killing them?

A: Some apps are restarted by system events, and due to system limitations, they cannot be prevented from restarting. We recommend enabling auto kill in settings, which will terminate tasks every time the screen is off, helping to save battery and release memory.

  • Q: How can I add apps to the ignore list?

A: Long press the task you wish to ignore, and a pop-up context menu will appear. Click "Ignore." Ignored apps will not appear in the task list and will not be killed. You can manage ignored apps in settings.

  • Q: How can I manage startup apps?

A: Use the "Startup Kill" feature in settings to terminate tasks when the system starts up.
