Introducing Swift Minimal: A Substratum Theme for Samsung Devices



Swift Minimal is a versatile Substratum theme featuring approximately 200 overlays, each available in dark or black options. This theme is specifically designed to enhance the visual experience on various Samsung devices.

System Requirements:


This theme is optimized for Samsung devices running the stock firmware on:



  • Nougat

  • Oreo

  • Pie


Custom ROMs based on Samsung firmware may also be compatible. However, for AOSP based ROMs, we recommend using our Dark and Black Substratum themes instead.


Note: Samsung tablets have not been tested, but may work. If you encounter any bugs, please let us know!



Root or Plugins Requirement:


The following requirements are set by the Substratum theme engine:



  • Samsung Nougat: Requires a separate, paid add-on developed by the Substratum team.

  • Samsung Oreo: Requires a different paid add-on or root access.

  • Samsung Pie (S9, S9+, Note 9): Requires a separate paid add-on or root access.

  • Samsung Pie (All other devices): Must root your device to use any Substratum theme.



Installation Instructions:



  1. Ensure you have all necessary components to use the Substratum theme engine.

  2. Download both the Substratum theme engine app and the Swift Minimal theme.

  3. Open the Substratum app and locate the theme.

  4. Select your desired background from the menu and choose the apps you wish to theme. Hit install.

  5. Wait for all overlays to install, then reboot your device.



If you are using Samsung Oreo or Pie, remember to enable all overlays in the "Manager" within the Substratum app after installation and rebooting.



Important: Uninstall all overlays before upgrading your firmware (OTA)!
