Security Concerns

Not using any pattern, PIN, or password lock poses a significant security risk. However, having to re-enter your PIN code multiple times a day can also be frustrating. Delayed Lock offers a solution to this dilemma:

After unlocking your device, it will disable the secure lock screen for a user-defined duration.

This can also occur while connected to a specific WiFi network or Bluetooth device, similar to the "personal unlocking" feature found in the latest Android versions.

You can turn your phone off and on as often as you like without needing to enter your password, PIN, or pattern again. Once the defined delay time expires, the lock screen will automatically reactivate, ensuring that unauthorized individuals cannot access your private data.

General Limitations

Does not work on Android 4.x if your Exchange policy requires a PIN, if a VPN is set up, or if custom certificates are installed (may work if rooted).

Pattern lock & FaceUnlock require root on Android 4.x.

Incompatibility with some devices (see Device Incompatibility section).

Requires root on Android 4.x if full device encryption is enabled; may not work with Samsung devices.

Please use the "Uninstall" option from within the app for removal.

Currently, only PIN & password lock screens are supported on Android 6.0.

Device Incompatibility

Some HTC devices: Pattern lock may not function.

Samsung devices running Android 4.4: Users have reported issues with PIN/password acceptance after 3 days. Update your system if possible.

May not work on certain Samsung devices with Android 5.0.x.

Sony devices: Disable Stamina mode or whitelist the app.
