In today's market, there are numerous fishing apps available; however, many are complicated and time-consuming. Why should you need a PhD just to catch a fish? That’s why we created Fishing Fanatic, the world’s easiest fishing and tidal app designed by fishermen, for fishermen. We understand the challenges you face on the water because we’ve been there ourselves.

Do you really need an app to tell you how to catch your limit? While it’s not essential, it certainly helps! Why not leverage modern technology to ensure you're on the water at the optimal times? With Fishing Fanatic, you can easily access:

Customization Options

The Fishing Fanatic app offers two color schemes: Dark Water or Light Water. Additionally, you can choose between two menus: Icons Only or Text and Icons.

Compass Features

A compass image points to the standard compass needle points, while a digital readout displays the exact bearing in degrees. Alphabetic symbols indicate the compass needle heading.

Fishing Routes

To use the fishing route tracking feature, simply navigate to your first fishing spot and tap the MARK GPS POSITION button. If you need to return to a fishing spot, just tap the coordinates. The app provides a map of the location, and you can drag a slider to display wind speed and direction for any specific time during the next 5-day period. Choose between Street, Hybrid, or Satellite view for navigation.

Getting Directions

To get directions to a location, the app will display your CURRENT COORDINATES and DESTINATION COORDINATES. Below this, you will see the DISTANCE TO DESTINATION and BEARING TO DESTINATION. Your CURRENT BEARING will be shown in red. Turn towards the destination bearing until both turn green, then travel until the distance reads 0.

Location Management

You can delete individual locations or all saved locations without affecting your saved tracking coordinates.

Weather Information

The weather page features three tabs:

1. CURRENT - Displays current weather in standard or metric.


2. FORECAST - Shows the forecasted weather over a 5-day period in 3-hour increments.


3. LUNAR - Displays lunar activity in either 12 or 24-hour time format.

Fish Activity Graph

The fish activity graph indicates the best times for fishing, which is invaluable when you have limited time. Combined, this data serves as a great indicator of fish activity and the likelihood of catching your limit.

Fishing Log Features

Capture your catches by photographing them and adding details such as date, time, and location in your Fishing Log. You can easily share these photos on Facebook and Twitter.

Photos can be edited in the photo editor by selecting a log entry and choosing View/Edit Photo. You can rotate, crop, and annotate photos with text and shapes of various colors and sizes.
