This app serves as a license key only and requires the Link2SD (free) app to function. By using this key, you will upgrade to the Plus edition, which removes ads and unlocks additional features. You will see "Link2SD Plus" displayed in the title of the Link2SD (free) app.

Plus Features Added

• Links internal data directory of apps to the SD card.


• Requires a non-FAT file system (ext2, ext3, ext4, or f2fs) on your second partition, as FAT file systems (FAT16, FAT32, or exFAT) do not support UNIX file ownership or permissions, leading to security issues with app's private files.


• Links external data and OBB folders of apps and games to the SD card.


• Links DEX files of system apps to the SD card.


• Auto clear cache service.


• Removes ads from Link2SD.

Note for Old Link2SD Plus Users

Due to a problem with Google Play, the package name of the app has changed and is published as a new app. It remains the same as the old version, and you can continue to use the previous version. To reinstall the old version, go to Play Store → My apps → ALL.

Support & Upgrades / Reinstalls

1. Keep Link2SD Plus installed and do not freeze (disable) it.


2. Purchases of Link2SD Plus are per Google account on the Play Store; all upgrades and reinstalls are free.


3. You can install Link2SD Plus on any device for free as long as you use the same Google account with which you made the purchase. If you have multiple Google accounts on the device, ensure that your "original" Google account is selected in the Play Store (side menu → top-right white arrow next to your account).

If You’re Getting a License Error

License errors may occur in the following situations:

• The Play Store app is not fully loaded. Please open the Play Store app and wait until it completely loads the start page.


• Your internet connection is unstable or the Play Store app/services are blocked from accessing the internet. A network connection is required for the initial license check, but you can go offline for a period afterward.


• Link2SD Plus is not licensed, or the order is incomplete/refunded/canceled. Check your Link2SD Plus status on wallet.google.com.


• An invalid Google account on the device. If you change the account, the Play Store may not recognize your purchase. Re-add the original Google account back to your device.


• Too many requests from apps to Play servers for license checks. Please try again later (in about 10 minutes).


• If you are using Android 2.x, ensure that background data is enabled.

To Resolve License Issues:

1. Uninstall Link2SD and Link2SD Plus, then reboot your device.


2. Ensure you have a stable internet connection.


3. Reinstall Link2SD and Link2SD Plus from the Google Play Store app. Reinstalls to the same account are free (installing from the APK will not resolve the issue).


4. You may need to start, wait a bit, and exit Link2SD Plus a few times to reload the license state.


5. If the issue persists, clear the data of Google Play Store and Google Play services, then reboot your device.

If You Encounter “Insufficient Storage Available” Error

Even if you have enough free space, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Clear all app cache within Link2SD.


2. Set the install location to automatic within Link2SD settings and reboot.


3. If the problem continues, clear the data of Google Play Store and Google Play Services, then reboot.
