Note: The free version of Lucid limits usage to 30 minutes of continuous operation. To enjoy the full features, you can upgrade with an in-app purchase for just 0.99 EUR or 1.49 USD.
Automatic Activation
Lucid automatically launches when you place your device in the dock or connect it to a charger. The app is designed for customization and offers a variety of functionalities, including:
- Clock: Displays the current time and date, along with additional information such as:
- Battery level
- Weather conditions
- Unread Gmail messages
- New SMS texts
- Missed calls
- Next alarm
- And much more from various DashClock extensions
- RSS View: Scrolls through the latest updates from your RSS feeds.
- Slideshow View: Initiates a slideshow featuring images stored on your device.
Requirements for Android 4.2+
To utilize and configure Lucid on Android 4.2 and above, you must enable the DayDream feature in your display settings. Please note that the system will not activate DayDream if your display remains awake. To ensure proper functionality, disable the Keep awake while charging option in the Android developer settings if it has been enabled. Customizing Date and Time Formats
You can modify the time and date format using the identifiers available at SimpleDateFormat Documentation.
