Composition Methods

There are two primary methods for composition:

1. Manual: You select the notes and chords.


2. Automatic: Utilize the AUTO COMPOSER that selects the "right" notes and chords for you.

COMPOSE ALL Feature

The COMPOSE ALL feature generates a new melody and accompanying harmony from scratch, serving as a fresh ideas generator that you can then refine.

AUTO MODE Options

When AUTO MODE is active, melodies are auto-composed every 4 cycles (this interval can be adjusted in Settings). You can save the composed melody while it plays by using the Save button.

Types of AUTO MODE

1. When AUTO MODE is active and COMPOSE ALL is selected, both melody and harmony will be auto-composed every 4 cycles. The text below the PLAY button will display "AUTO ALL".


2. When AUTO MODE is active and COMPOSE NOTES is selected, only the melody will be auto-composed every 4 cycles, displaying "AUTO NOTES".


3. When AUTO MODE is active and COMPOSE CHORDS is selected, only the harmony will be auto-composed every 4 cycles, showing "AUTO CHORDS".

Interactive Features

Change notes and chords using the drop-down menus for each note. You can listen to both melody and harmony or focus on just one using the checkboxes in the control menu.

To auto-compose some notes of the melody, simply check them and press the Auto Compose button. The app will generate the notes for you.

How to Get Started

1. Select your desired tempo, note scale, and note length.


2. Create a melody rhythm by checking the appropriate checkboxes below the notes. Play the rhythm and make adjustments as needed.


3. Press the COMPOSE NOTES button to generate notes for the selected rhythm.


4. Listen to the melody repeatedly and tweak the notes manually or with the help of the auto composer.


5. Add harmony accompaniment to enrich your composition.
