How It Works



  1. Set Your Standard Hours: Enter your work day against your standard hours (offset).

  2. Daily Balance Calculation: My Overtime will calculate your daily balance (straight time).

  3. Tracking Balances: Monitor your balances by day, week, month, and year.

  4. Activity Logging: Enter hours as "At work" or create your own activity type.

  5. Real-Time Tracking: Use Check-in / Check-out buttons for real-time start/stop.

  6. Quick Access: Add the Widget for fastest access to your tracking.

  7. Templates: Check the many examples to get started (My templates).

  8. Vacation and Payout Tracking: Track your vacation allowance and payout amounts (Expenses, Overtime, etc).

  9. Report Generation: Use various reports to check your balances and export them to CSV and HTML format.

  10. Data Backup: Backup your data with Dropbox or via email.

Template Usage


Enter your standard working day using templates:



  • Create a standard template to store your usual working day.

  • Templates can be created for each day of the week or for specific situations.

  • Copy the last day and modify start/end times retrospectively.

Real-Time Tracking


Track your times on the go:



  • Use the "Fast-Check-in" button.

  • Update the End time using the ‘check-out’ button.

  • Hit the ‘Next’ button when ready to check-in again.

  • Activate the timer under Settings to check-in from the notification bar.

Important Note for US Non-Exempt Workers


The app was not designed to calculate overtime pay automatically. Please use the new feature "Overtime for Period" to calculate your weekly extra hours. For more details about overtime pay tracking, check the FAQ page within the app. We are exploring more automated features in future versions, so stay tuned!
