Instrument Tuner

The instrument tuner displays the target notes for the selected instrument and tuning, which is particularly beneficial for stringed instruments. For example:

• A violin tuner will display GDAE.

You can simply play each string, and the tuner will indicate whether you are in tune. Pitched Tuner includes built-in tunings for many common instruments, such as:

The chromatic tuner displays the note closest to what is currently being played. For instance, if you play an A, it will show an A. This feature is particularly useful for instruments with numerous notes, such as piano tuning. Some string players may also prefer this mode, especially if they play instruments with multiple common tunings, like the guitar. It allows for quick tuning adjustments without needing to touch the app.

Visual Feedback

Pitched Tuner features a traditional tuner needle and dial that clearly displays the frequency being played, the nearest note, and the error in cents (one cent is one hundredth of a semitone). The dial enables easy tracking of small pitch changes, while a separate volume indicator shows how well the microphone is picking up your instrument sound.
