Basic Operations
- Click the
+orsearch(folder icon with a magnifier) button at the bottom to add EPUB files to the app. - If you click the
+button, shortcuts will be added instead of copying files into Reasily. Use theImportoption to copy files and manage them easily. - Open multiple books simultaneously, switching between them using the "recent apps" button on your device.
- Swipe left/right to navigate to the next/previous chapter or page.
- Access the table of contents from the drawer menu.
- Customize display options: sepia/night theme, custom font, margins, line-height adjustment, and text justification.
- Scale text size using pinch-zoom gestures.
- Click images to enlarge and view descriptions; scale images with fingers.
- On Android 7 and above, read books in float windows or split views.
- Your current reading progress is saved automatically when the book is closed or moved to the background.
- Close a book by long-pressing the back button or tapping "Close" in the menu.
Bookmarks
- Bookmark the current chapter, selected text, or clicked paragraph.
- Bookmarks are listed above the table of contents in the drawer menu, allowing you to create your own table of contents.
- Click "EDIT" to rename, reorder, or remove bookmarks.
Annotation Features
- Long-click to select text and highlight it with various colors and styles.
- Set a default highlight style by long-clicking on it.
- Use the "Note" (chat bubble) button to write notes.
- Click highlighted text to show or edit the note.
- Scale the font size of pop-up notes using pinch-zoom gestures.
- Access a list of highlights and notes from the "Notes" section at the top of the table of contents.
Data Synchronization
- Sync Now: Manually back up and sync highlights, notes, and bookmarks to a hidden app folder in your Google Drive.
- Auto-Sync Data: Enable automatic syncing (Pro feature).
- Import from Another EPUB: Attempt to import annotation data from another EPUB file.
Using Downloaded Fonts
- Supported font formats: TTF and OTF.
- Select the folder containing fonts in the Typeface menu to list all fonts, including those in subdirectories.
- Group fonts by placing them in a subdirectory and adding a '@' to the end of the directory name.
