Overview of Samsung Notes

Getting Started with Samsung Notes

To create a new note, simply tap the + icon located in the bottom right corner of the main screen. Newly created notes will be saved with the sdocx extension.

Protect Your Notes

   On the main screen, tap More Options in the upper right corner, select Settings, and then choose Lock Note. Here, you can select a note locking method and set a password.

   To lock specific notes, tap More Options on the note you wish to protect and select Lock Note.
   

Create Handwritten Notes

Tap the Handwriting icon while writing a note to display your handwriting directly on the page.

Add Photos

To include a photo in your note, tap the Photo icon. You can take a new photo, load an existing one, add tags, and edit as needed.

Add a Voice Recording

By tapping the Voice Recording icon during note-taking, you can capture audio and create notes enriched with sound.

Explore Various Writing Tools

Tap the Pen icon to choose from an array of writing tools, including pens, fountain pens, pencils, and highlighters, along with different colors and thicknesses. If you need to erase content, simply tap the Eraser icon to select and remove unwanted elements.

Import Notes and Memos

You can import notes and memos created in other applications like Notes and Memo using the Smart Switch feature. Additionally, notes and memos saved on other devices can be imported through your Samsung account.

To provide you with the best service, Samsung Notes requires certain access permissions. Note that basic features can still be used without granting optional permissions.

• Photos and Videos: Used to add images and videos to notes.


• Notifications: Notifies you about invitations to shared notes and syncing issues.


• Music and Audio: Allows you to add audio to notes.
