Introducing One UI Home: A Fresh Look for Samsung Users


Samsung Experience Home has been reimagined and is now known as One UI Home. This updated interface features a simplified screen layout with neatly organized icons, providing a seamless experience across Home and Apps screens designed specifically for Galaxy devices. Discover the visually appealing One UI Home that combines familiar elements with innovative changes.

New Features Available with Android Pie



  • Full-Screen Gestures: Enjoy a more immersive experience by hiding the Navigation buttons at the bottom of the Home screen. Quickly switch between apps using intuitive gestures, allowing for a larger Home screen.


  • Lock Home Screen Layout: After rearranging app icons, you can lock the Home screen layout to prevent accidental changes. To enable this feature, navigate to Home screen settings and turn on Lock Home screen layout.


  • Quick Access to App Info: By touching and holding an app icon or widget, you can swiftly access the App info or Widget settings screen without the hassle of navigating through multiple menus.

Note: The features mentioned above require an update to Android 9.0 Pie or a later version. Availability of features may vary depending on the device or OS version.

If your system software version is older than Android 6.0, please update your software to configure app permissions. Previously allowed permissions can be reset in the Apps menu within device settings after a software update.
