This innovative application turns any mobile phone or tablet with USB host/OTG support into a portable software-defined radio scanner and spectrum analyzer. Depending on the hardware used, the radio frequency coverage can range from 20 MHz to 2.2 GHz. SDR Touch is capable of demodulating various signals including FM, AM, narrowband FM, upper sideband (USB), and lower sideband (LSB).

Explore Hidden Data with RDS Monitoring

The built-in RDS monitor allows users to explore the hidden digital data feeds that most commercial FM radio stations broadcast. This includes:

• Program Type (PTY)


• Country of Broadcast (ECC)


• Date and Time (CT)


• Unique Program Identifier (PI)


• List of Alternative Frequencies (AF)


• Advanced statistics about the digital RDS carrier signal

Offline Functionality

One of the best features of SDR Touch is that it receives live radio via external USB hardware and runs offline. This means you do not need a data plan or an internet connection to enjoy the app! You can take SDR Touch anywhere and discover what lies hidden in the radio spectrum.

Getting Started with SDR Touch

To run SDR Touch, simply plug your SDR receiver into your Android device using a USB OTG cable.
