• Adaptive Icon Packs
  

  Choose from a variety of popular icon packs to customize your home screen. Adaptive icons are fully supported, allowing for a personalized touch.

  
  


• Smart Unread
  

  The widget on the first page highlights the most important notifications on your phone. Control your music playback directly from the widget: tap once to pause, twice to skip, and three times to rewind.

  
  


• Themes
  

  Switch between Light or Dark mode, or let Shade decide based on your wallpaper. You can also select an accent color to apply throughout the launcher for a modern and personalized look.

  
  


• News Feed
  

  Swipe right to access a customizable feed selected in the settings. Any app can implement a feed. To display Google's News Feed, you need Rootless Pixel Bridge from my GitHub.

  
  


• Grid Division
  

  Choose between 4, 5, or 6 columns on your home screen, or let Shade automatically adjust based on your device's size.

  
  


• Shortcuts
  

  Long press an app icon to reveal quick shortcuts that provide instant access to your most-used features.

  
  


• Hiding Apps
  

  Easily hide apps by dragging them to the Hide icon, and find them again by scrolling down in the app drawer.

  
  


• Tap to Go Home
  

  Android Q users can add a tap-to-go-home action to the gesture navigation bar. Activate the Draw Over Apps permission and the Accessibility Service to enable this feature.

  
  

Compatibility

Shade is supported on any phone running Android 7.0 or higher. Enjoy the app without unexpected fees or advertisements, and rest assured that no data is collected.
