Vocalizer is an embedded Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine that delivers expressive and natural-sounding voices in over 50 languages.
Vocalizer enhances the user experience across various applications on your device, including:
- GPS navigation
- E-Book reading
- Assistive software
Important Note
- Each voice can be purchased through a simple In-App purchase process. The app includes a 7-day trial to test voices.
- Recent updates to Google apps mandate the use of their own voices. GPS applications (like maps) and AI assistants currently ignore text-to-speech settings, only allowing Google TTS. This decision has faced strong criticism from the Android community; however, we cannot guarantee compatibility with these apps at this time.
- As an alternative, you can utilize Vocalizer voices with other GPS apps such as Navigator or Sygic, which are compatible with Google Speech APIs.

Setting Vocalizer as Your Default TTS Engine
Once the application is installed on your device, you can set Vocalizer as your default Text-to-Speech engine by following these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Select (System)
- Tap on Language & input
- Choose (Advanced)
- Select Text-to-Speech output
- Check Vocalizer TTS as your default/preferred engine.
