The game features a puzzle and fantasy storyline that tells the tale of two characters from different worlds. The girl in the game is named Vella, who lives in a small town where the townspeople sacrifice young girls to a sea monster to prevent the creature from destroying their city. Being chosen as a sacrifice is considered a great honor, and Vella's family is quite pleased about it. However, Vella intends to escape and kill the monster to save herself and the townspeople!

On the other side of the story is a boy named Shay, who lives in a spaceship controlled by an artificial intelligence that considers Shay to be its child. For entertainment, Shay can participate in rescue scenarios that he has no interest in. His confinement within the spaceship is meant to prepare him for a significant purpose that remains a mystery to the players. When you start the game, you must choose one of these two characters to proceed. You can also switch between the two characters and advance both of their stories. Additionally, you can complete one character's story entirely before starting the other. It's worth noting that Shay's story is slightly shorter and more intriguing than Vella's. By clicking on the screen, you can switch characters and focus on an object or person. You can engage in conversations with other characters, and there are questions available at the bottom of the screen that you can ask them.
