About Ludo

Ludo is a strategy board game for 2 to 4 players, widely played in India, Nepal, Algeria, and many other Asian, Latin, and European countries. It is also known as Parchisi, Parcheesi, and Laadhuu. The objective is simple: each player races their four tokens from start to finish (home) based on the rolls of a single die or dice.

Design

Experience classic wooden and neo-Ludo boards (paper & white). The wooden board, dice, and tokens boast a timeless design, providing a better visual experience and nostalgic feelings. The sketch marks and crystal-clear tokens will evoke memories of the classic Ludo board.

Die Rolling

I've developed a completely new physics engine for die-rolling mechanics that simulates real-time rolling. The physics behind die-rolling was challenging, and I am proud to be the first to implement it, making it feel like a 3D Ludo game.

Settings

Enjoy an extensive set of game settings that allow you to play in hundreds of variations to suit your local rules. Some options include:

Star Squares: Safer squares

Barrier Squares: Squares that block opponents

Home Squares: Enter without returning opponent tokens

Magic No: A die result that allows a token to enter its starting square

Token Moving & Die Rolling Speed

Offline and Online Play

Offline

Play with one or more Computer or Players, or a combination. Choose the intelligence level of the Computer (Trained, Expert, Strategic) to increase complexity. The Bluetooth gameplay option allows you to pair devices and start matches offline.

Online

Play with friends, family, or random players worldwide by logging into Google Play Games, Google Plus, Facebook, or as an anonymous player. Invite friends or join matches hosted by your friends. Track your total wins and rank on Global Leaderboards, and unlock various achievements in the kingdom of Ludo.

Emote your tokens and message opponents during matches for an interactive experience.

Game AI

The AI is designed with the understanding that the outcome of dice rolls is always random. The Computer's intelligence only determines which tokens to move and whether to return opponent tokens. It does not control the outcome of the dice.
