The description of Rebels and Redcoats

Rebels and Redcoats recreates the battlefields of the American Revolutionary War, a pivotal moment in history that began in 1775. This conflict arose when the American colonies rebelled against the British Empire, ultimately declaring their independence in 1776. Over the following years, Britain endeavored to quell the revolt and reclaim its territories. However, the rebels received crucial support from European allies, with France and Spain joining the war effort. A decisive American victory at Yorktown in 1781 shattered British resolve and initiated peace negotiations. The war concluded in 1783 with the signing of the Treaty of Paris, granting global recognition of the sovereignty of the United States.
