Backstory

The Templar Knights are a revered and storied martial order, serving as the elite forces for the Star Traders during their most challenging conflict: the Galactic War against the Guild. They are renowned for their 10-foot tall battle mechs known as Leviathan Battle Suits, originally designed for high-pressure environments and exploring gas giants and deep space, now modified for war.

Templars descend from a Zendu bloodline, a unique heritage that allows them to pass down memories from their lives and ancestors to newborn children through rigorous training and ritual. This memory gift, known as a Templar’s Lineage, provides Templars with a significant advantage in combat, tactics, and engineering, enabling them to pilot the hulking Leviathan Battle Suits. You will assume the role of a Templar Captain, hailing from a storied Lineage that spans 87 Templars, drawing upon ancestral memories to navigate the dire situations ahead.

As the Great Exodus comes to an end, the Star Traders establish new colonies on the few remaining habitable worlds. Once again, the Templar Knights are summoned to defend the Star Traders and their new colonies from an ancient threat.
