The History of the Trojan War

The Trojan War is a legendary conflict in Greek mythology that spanned ten years. It was instigated by King Menelaus of Sparta when his wife, Queen Helen, was taken by Paris, the second prince of Troy.

Conquering Troy was no easy feat, as it required traversing mountains, seas, and deserts. The famed fortified city of Troy was built by the gods Apollo and Poseidon and defended by the skilled general Hector, brother of Paris.
