Permission Explanations

Lawnchair requests the following permissions:

AccessibilityService Permission: This is used optionally to enhance accessibility for certain system functions, such as desktop gestures for turning the screen off. Lawnchair will prompt you to enable this if necessary, but it is not required for many configurations. Importantly, no data is collected from the AccessibilityService; it is solely used to invoke system actions.

Device Administrator Permission: This permission allows Lawnchair to lock the screen when a specific gesture is detected. This feature is optional and is disabled by default.

How to install Lawnchair 2

Difference between Beta version and Dev version:
Both the Dev and Beta installation files are unstable versions of the application, released respectively for developers and testing users, but the Beta version has fewer bugs and issues compared to the Dev version! [Currently, an official version of this application has not been released].

What's news

Lawnchair 14 is a new version of Lawnchair, rebuilt to support new features from Android 11 to Android 14, including:

* Launcher UI that matches Android 14's Pixel Launcher
* Material You & tablet support
* Fast on-device local search
* Plethora of customization options

This release is still a beta, so not all features will be implemented. We plan on supporting all Lawnchair 2 features on the stable release of this version.
